How it works

1. 1.Trigger the workflow manually using Manual Demo Trigger.
2. 2.Emit nested test records with missing and null values via a Code node.
3. 3.Recursively flatten nested structures and inject fallback defaults for nulls using Flatten & Fill Missing Values.
4. 4.Evaluate transaction amounts with the Audit Payload Readiness IF node.
5. 5.Assign operational categories in Set nodes while retaining normalized keys using includeOtherFields.
6. 6.Append streams in Merge and output uniform structures in Ready For Downstream Pipelines.

Setup and testing in n8n

1. Import the workflow and click Test workflow on Manual Demo Trigger.
2. Review Flatten & Fill Missing Values output to verify keys like user_profile_name and safe defaults.
3. Confirm that TX-1001 routes to commercial_invoice and TX-1002 routes to free_tier.
4. Verify final unified items in Ready For Downstream Pipelines matching expected output.
