Workflow Description
For each record, the workflow builds a brand-new object containing only the dotted paths listed in an allowlist Set node, preserving nesting and never mutating the source. It reports droppedPaths (every non-allowed leaf path) and missingPaths (allowed paths absent from the record), and proves immutability via a before/after comparison. An IF node separates drifting items from clean ones, tags them with status drift or clean, and merges them into one output. The demo includes four fictional records covering valid and invalid cases.
How it works

- 4.Code node builds new projected object and computes droppedPaths, missingPaths, driftCount, originalUnchanged
- 5.IF routes driftCount>0 to drift, others to clean
- 6.Set nodes add status, Merge appends, NoOp final output

Requirements

Setup and testing in n8n
