Workflow Description
An automation template that periodically collects blog posts and event data, then syncs them directly into a Google Sheets spreadsheet. This workflow eliminates manual data entry and keeps your content inventory updated in a centralized location.
How it works
- 1.Activate the scheduled trigger to initiate the collection process at regular intervals
- 2.Send an HTTP request to retrieve blog and event data from their source systems
- 3.Parse and split the incoming data into individual records for processing
- 4.Insert the processed records into the designated Google Sheets tab
Use cases
- Automatically aggregate new blog posts and upcoming events into a unified tracking spreadsheet
- Maintain a live, always-updated content calendar without manual intervention
Requirements
- Active Google account with edit permissions on the target Google Sheets file
- Accessible API endpoint or data source exposing blog and event information via HTTP
Service Value
